You do not need a formal diagnosis to seek counselling.
Many people come to counselling because they are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, low, stuck, emotionally drained, uncertain, or affected by relationship difficulties, life changes, grief, or recurring patterns they want to understand better.
Counselling is not only for people with a diagnosed mental health condition. It can also be a space for self-understanding, emotional support, personal growth, and working through life’s challenges.
If you already have a diagnosis, counselling may still be helpful. If you do not, that does not make your struggles any less valid.
You are allowed to seek support simply because something feels difficult and you do not want to carry it alone.
