About Olive Branch Counselling & Wellness

Compassionate, personalised counselling rooted in hope, connection, and meaningful change.

Olive Branch Counselling & Wellness was created from a simple belief: healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted.

The olive branch has long symbolised peace, hope, reconciliation, resilience, and new beginnings — values that reflect the heart of my practice and the possibility of moving forward after difficult seasons.

Every person’s story is unique, so my approach is thoughtfully tailored to your needs, experiences, relationships, culture, and personal values — creating a safe and compassionate space to support greater understanding, healing, and meaningful change.

I believe that people are not defined by the challenges they face.

Every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change when they are supported within a safe, compassionate, and trusting therapeutic relationship.

Counselling is not about giving advice or “fixing” people. It is about creating a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgement, gain greater self-awareness, recognise your strengths, and discover meaningful ways forward.

Hello, I’m Natasha Ilyas, a licensed counsellor. I support individuals and couples as they navigate life’s challenges, relationships, and periods of change with greater understanding, compassion, and hope.

My work is grounded in compassion, respect, and collaboration with an integrative approach tailored to each person’s needs, experiences, values and goals.

Rather than telling you what to do or offering quick solutions, I work collaboratively with you to better understand your experiences, recognise your strengths, and explore meaningful ways forward.

My experience includes supporting individuals and couples with a range of emotional, personal, relational, and workplace concerns.

My professional experience also includes counselling and wellbeing support in corporate and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) settings, particularly around workplace stress, emotional wellbeing, and interpersonal challenges.

I have worked with clients from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, with an emphasis on compassionate, collaborative, and culturally sensitive care.

To create a trusted and compassionate counselling space where individuals and couples feel safe to explore their experiences, reconnect with themselves, strengthen their relationships, and move forward with greater hope, resilience, and purpose.

To provide compassionate, personalised, and culturally sensitive counselling that honours each person’s unique experiences, values, beliefs, and goals.

Through a collaborative and integrative approach, I aim to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, strengthening relationships, building resilience, and creating meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

Creating a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and cared for.

Encouraging genuine self-discovery, honesty, and greater self-compassion.

Honouring each person’s culture, beliefs, values, choices, and lived experiences.

Working alongside you as a partner in the counselling journey.

Believing in each person’s capacity for healing, greater self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change.
